We founded Wilderton in 2019 with a simple vision: make world-class non-alcoholic spirits. Use real ingredients and honest processes. Build a proper distillery and share our love of botanicals, spirits, and aperitivos with other folks who love a good drink and care about how it’s made.
We’re proud to say that we did this and more. But today we share some tough news: as many of you know, Wilderton as we know it will go on indefinite hiatus this month. Like many other small businesses, 2025 threw us a combination of curveballs that even our superhero team couldn’t overcome.
Much like a great aperitivo, this news is bittersweet. Bitter because we don’t know when, or if, Wilderton products will be back again. But sweet because we are so immensely proud of what we accomplished, the connections we forged, and the memories we made together along the way.
We did none of it alone, and have so many people to thank. From the farmers and foragers that brought us our ingredients to our talented and tireless team to every one of you who drank Wilderton with your friends, it was always a community production. Even though Wilderton as we know it is going away, the forces that sustained it continue.
