We had so much fun today having my siblings & all my nieces & nephew come out to the farm for a picnic. We set up our picnic in the front lot of the barn, and of course the little girls Kiara & Sarabi loved having everyone give them attention, treats, and pets. 🧡

Farmer Hud only cried once when Kiara moo’ed very loudly in his face. 🤣

Today and always, may we never forget those who gave everything for our freedom.

The cows love to hang out at the barn in the mornings. Usually by around 11am they head to the shaded meadow area down by the fresh water springs we have on our property. They stay nice & cool down there until it’s evening feed time.

I am so proud of the progress this guy has made. Brushing him like this was not possible 2 months ago, he was still so wary of us. So many hours have been spent just spending time with him. Now he trusts me enough to let me brush him while he is lying down most days. 🧡

Strawberry Wine was in the corner the whole time still not knowing what to think of me. 🤣

Kiara has the curliest, craziest hair. You wouldn’t know she gets brushed every single day. 😵‍💫

It’s so interesting to see how each girl is developing & growing. They were both born on our farm, but have different sires (and dams, obviously). Sarabi’s sire is CBS Matrix. Kiara’s sire is WND Nash. Sarabi is also 2 months older than Kiara.
