We found this little turtle in the road. Jake saved him & brought him to the water! We named him Hubert. But then Hubert touched Jake with his claw during the rescue mission and Jake accidentally dropped him. 🤣 he was ok.

In addition to our 4 board wood fencing at the barn, we also have electric fence that helps us keep our cows in. Part of having electric fence means maintaining it properly. W**d eating, mowing, & making sure no limbs have fallen on it is all a part of our weekly routine.

The downside of having a lot of land is that this takes a LOT of time - but we like having clean & well-maintained fencing for our cows.

For those that will ask about our electric fence - we have 4 strands by the road, 3 strands in the calf lot, & 2 strands in the cow pasture & heifer pasture. All of our cows are extremely respectful of our fencing, including our bull.
