Dearest Earthwise Family,

We’ve missed you these past few weeks, our Portland community, our old Kiwi friends, those we’ve befriended near and far along the way.

Two weeks ago, life interrupted everything in a very real way.

Warren suffered a rare type of stroke — sudden, frightening, and one of those moments where time stops and everything instantly rearranges itself.
And yet somehow, through extraordinary care, luck, timing, and grace, he came through without physical or cognitive damage. We know how rare that is. Our gratitude is beyond beyond.

The last couple of weeks have been full of recovery, exhaustion, perspective shifts, tears — and yes, a few inappropriate jokes along the way, because that’s still who we are.

These moments are holy moly wake ups. They remind us that life is fragile and wildly beautiful. That people matter more than schedules. That a shared meal can be sacred. That laughter is medicine. That community means everything.

Thank you for supporting this tiny family business. We are in awe of the good energy coming our way.

Slow down a little when you can. Laugh loudly. Call somebody who matters. Share your love.
