Goodfire Brewing Co is a full service, family friendly, independently owned craft brewery + tasting room in the East Bayside neighborhood of Portland, ME. We offer a rotating selection of 16oz cans to go, draft pours + food on site via a network of Portlands best food trucks / vendors. Located on the second floor of the historic Rockwell building, you can find our entrance in the back of the building behind Lone Pine.

Our Pride beer comes out tomorrow, just in time for Portland Pride this weekend!!!!! 🏳️‍🌈🦄🌈🏳️‍⚧️ It’s a Hopped Lager called No Labels, and we’re donating $1 from every pour of this beer to 💘Portland Outright💘 all weekend long, from both Freeport and Portland locations. It’s a beer style you don’t see too often around here, and we’re excited to drink it, celebrate Pride Month, and share it with you!!!

And we’ve got some lovely Pride stickers for sale too, donating 100% of sales to Portland Outright 🫶

No Squidward energy allowed on this block!!!! For everyone who’s emailed, called, messaged, and questioned us about when we’ll have Moon Jellies back … today is your day 🪼🍻🌝 and for those who have no idea what we’re talking about, Moon Jellies is our 7% Imperial Fruited Sour with an English base malt, wheat, and oats, refermented on passion fruit and raspberry, and roughly 18% fruit by volume…Then finished with freeze-dried raspberries because we do not know when to stop.

Pink, tart, deliciously sour, with a big sweet backbone. Available on draft and to go at both locations!

How to know it’s officially summer? When CMYK is back!! 🩵🩷💛🖤 It’s the perfect summer IPA, in our humble opinions 🙃 A hazy New England IPA but with touch of rustic wheat character from local Pilsner malt, German Vienna, and Malted Spelt. CMYK colors the palate with citrus zest, pine, pepper, and tropical fruit notes. Hopped with Strata, Simcoe, and Eclipse. On tap at both locations and available to go. It’s officially summer!!!!

REJOICE all you sour beer fans, Lutro returns to both tasting rooms!! 🍋 And for something extra special, we’ve got a special batch of 🍓STRAWBERRY🍓 Lutro for a limited time, draft only!

Lutro is a Salted Lemon Gose-style Sour (4.5%ABV) that we brew every spring when the weather starts to feel like summer…we brew it on a base of Pilsner malt, wheat, and sea salt, then we lightly sour it in the kettle before fermenting it with a liberal dose of freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest. This summer treat features a tart, crisp, and maximally crushable “salty lemonade” profile.

Right now we’re just pouring Strawberry Lutro at each tasting room, but regular Lutro is available in 4-packs to go at both locations.

Portland and Freeport are open all weekend long!

LEFT ON RED … or left on read? Either way, we’ve got a RED ALE in the house! In both houses actually, now that Portland is open for the season!!!!

We brewed this beer on the Freeport Pilot system last spring, but it’s back! It’s back with 1) an official name that won’t earn us a cease & desist (last year we called it Pat’s R€d Ribb0n AIe just because we couldn’t NOT), and 2) can availability! It’s very exciting because basically, a beer making it off the pilot system is the same thing as weekend plans making it out of the group chat.

This red ale is the brainchild of our assistant brewer, Pat Lockwood (). Brewed with Maris Otter finest pale malt, a good dose of rye malt, and single-hopped with Willamette. It’s malty, a little spicy from the rye, with notes of dried fruit and caramel. COME DRINK IT!!!!

Today and this weekend, we’re pouring: Prime IPA, Waves IPA, Tricombs DIPA, NEW Left on Red (Red Ale), Ack Ack Ack Pale Ale, Worms Best Bitter, Bonus Land Italian Pilsner, Dizzy Spell Kölsch, Almost Always Never Portland Common, and a super secret draft-only beer you’ll have to come n find out about!

If anyone wants to learn about Kellerbiers aka Zwickelbiers, check out this article written by 🍻🇩🇪 TLDR: Kellerbier is also called a Zwickelbier which is a German lager that’s extra fresh, unfiltered, and naturally carbonated, or as (Goodfire Head Brewer) says, “it’s a slightly elevated, good ol’ fashion lager!”
