Hillside Blueberries

Hillside Blueberries We are a family owned U-Pick Blueberry Farm that was planted in 1995 and opened to the public in 2009. Recipes can be found on our website. Happy picking.

These 500 beautiful bushes produce two varieties of fruit: Spartans which ripen near the end of June and Nelsons which ripen about a month later. The fruit is large and delicious fresh, frozen, or baked into any number of treats. Restrooms are located near the field. Picking baskets are available but please remember to bring your own containers to take fruit home. Families are welcome (we love kids!) but please leave pets at home.

Hillside Blueberries ripe Spartans were almost completely picked out today, July 8th. WE WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW, JULY 9TH, to allow the green under fruit to come on for next weekend. The Nelson rows are coming on fast now and a few of them may even be open next weekend too. Announcing the 2023 Season Opener under new ownership this coming Saturday and Sunday, July 8th and 9th from 7:00 to 11 am. (Drive in will close at 10:30 but you are free to pick until 11).

Please come and meet the new owners continuing the legacy of totally organic Spartan and Nelson blueberries. They were truly heaven sent and have worked tirelessly to get ready for you. Be sure to visit the website to read the "Weekly Update" page before you venture out.

This will be my last official post under this name as we are in the process of completely transferring the business to them. A huge thanks for all of the support and memory making through the years. Patti is signing off...

Hillside Blueberries will be open again Saturday, August 6th and Sunday, August 7th from 7 to 11 am. I am cuurently offering Nelson berries although you can still find an occassional Spartan delight if you are willing to glean.

It appears the critters have chewed my phone line so my Voice Mail is temporarily down. Repair is scheduled for tomorrow. My apologies for any inconvenience.

U-pick is $3.60 per lb.

Hillside Blueberries will be open again just Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st this weekend from 7 to 11 am. We will be closed on Friday as the property is listing this week.

Hillside Blueberries will have limited hours tomorrow Saturday, July 23rd from 7 to 10 am only. Come early for the best selection and chance of getting ripe "Nelson" fruit. I will turn the sign when/if we are picked out.

We will be closed on Sunday, July 24th to allow the bushes to rest.

Hillside Blueberries had a record 4 hour day today and I thank all of you for a wonderful morning. You picked soooo much fruit! 🥰

Hillside Blueberries will be open again Friday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 23rd, and Sunday, July 24th from 7 to 11 am. The Nelson rows are now ready and will be available on Friday. The crop is gigantic and making up for last year when the 3 day heat wave took most of it. The last of the Spartans are on and also available.

It looks like perfect blueberry picking weather is predicted for this weekend. Hope to see you soon!

Please note that Hillside Blueberries is completely picked out of ripe fruit for the remainder of this weekend and will be closed Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th to allow the Spartan berries to rest. Be sure to check the website .hillside blueberries.com for fruit availability for next weekend. The Nelson crop is gigantic and coming on fast but I still need to wait to announce when I can open those rows. There will be Spartan berries available next weekend for sure as the last of it is ripening now. Thanks for your patience and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Hillside Blueberries will be open again July 15th, Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th, from 7 to 11 am. We are currently offering our gorgeous, abundant and delicious Spartan berries and U-pick is $3.60 per lb. Please be sure to bring containers to transport your fruit home.

Our season opener last Sunday was wonderful and also incredibly busy. As we are a small farm located at a private residence, we ask that you please enter and exit the driveway slowly.
