It turns out to be a sunnier day than people thought it would be so come on down to the Gresham Farmers Market today until 2 pm and get yourself a nice hot pie witch for walking around or more than one.

Looks like we might be in for a little light rain on Saturday morning, but we're still going to be at The Original Gresham Farmers' Market as always, and we hope you will be too. Only three more Saturdays to go for us. This week we will be offering:

Chicken Pot Pie Wich - Chicken Breast, Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, Celery in a White W**e Sauce

Cubano Pie Wich - Ham, Salami, Swiss Cheese, Mustard, Local Honey

Shepherd’s Pie Wich (Dairy-free) - Ground Beef, Potatoes, Onions, Peas, Carrots in a rich Beef Gravy

Steak & Stout Pie Wich - Steak, Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, Ground Breaker Stout Broth

Tarragon Trail Pie Wich - Chicken, Harvest Moon Mushrooms, Tarragon in a Creamy Sauce

Mushroom & Onion Pie Wich (Vegan) - Harvest Moon Mushrooms, Onions, Shallots, Vegan Worcestershire Sauce

In addition, we will be offering a very limited number of 6" Peach Pies. We will also have something we talked about at the beginning of the season: Monster Cereal Marshmallow Treats! This week we will be featuring Count Chocula! See you Saturday!

It's October, our favorite month, though you might not know it by the weather. It's going to be warm, but still a great day to come out to The Original Gresham Farmers' Market to get you some Pie Wiches. This week, all the flavors are new ones that we have introduced over the course of the season. This will likely be your last chance this year to get some of these flavors. Here's what we have on offer:

Denver Breakfast Pie Wich - Eggs, Potatoes, Onions, Green Peppers, Ham, Cheddar Cheese

Chicken Apricot Brie Pie Wich - Chicken Breast, Apricots, Brie, Onions, in a Cream Sauce

Beef Bourguignon Pie Wich (Dairy-Free) - Steak, Mushrooms, Red W**e, Carrots, Onions, Bacon, Spices

Spinach Artichoke Pie Wich - Spinach, Artichoke Hearts, Cannellini Beans, Onion, Garlic, Parmesan Cheese
Sausage Roll Pie Wich - Pork Sausage, Onions, Garlic, Dijon Mustard, Spices

Buffalo Cauliflower Pie Wich (Vegan) - Cauliflower, Garlic, Buffalo Sauce

In addition, as part of the James Beard Public Market Apple Pie Week, we will be offering "Not Your Grandma's Apple Pie". A&J Orchards Apples soaked in Fireball with cinnamon and ginger added. We will be bringing more of these than usual, but we still expect them to sell out. Your last chance to pre-order them will be today at Rockwood Community Market from 3-7 as we will be there selling frozen Pie Wiches. We look forward to seeing you!

We're getting prepared for the James Beard Public Market Apple Pie Week and we're getting started by buying a whole bunch of apples, which we are going to prepare tomorrow night!

Today we will be at the Rockwood Community Market from 3-7 selling frozen Pie Wiches. After this week, the market will be moving inside for the rest of the season.

In other news, this Saturday is the Gresham Teddy Bear Parade, and we will be bringing some stuffies for the occasion, though we don't have any teddy bears. The Original Gresham Farmers' Market is still happening. Now, there will be no vendors on Hood Avenue, so those vendors are relocated to Second and Third Streets. We will be in our usual location, however. This week's Pie Wiches will be:

Breakfast Pie Wich - Eggs, Hash Browns, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese

Mom’s Potato Pie Wich - Ground Beef, Potatoes, Onions, Herbes de Provence in a thick Cheddar Cheese Sauce

Cottage Pie Wich (DF) - Steak, Potatoes, Onions, Peas, Carrots in a Beef Gravy

Malibu Chicken Pie Wich - Chicken, Ham, Swiss Cheese, Mustard Sauce

Sausage & Apple Pie Wich - Sausage, Apples, Spices

BBQ “Chik’n” Pie Wich (Vegan) - Jackfruit, Red Onions, Roasted Red Pepper, Bourbon BBQ Sauce

We will also have a very limited number of Marionberry 6" pies for sale as well as some churros if there's any leftover dough.

One more bit of news: we have been accepted as part of this year's Apple Pie Week celebrations with the James Beard Public Market, so we will be taking pre-orders for a very special pie we're calling "Not your Grandma's Apple Pie" that we will be offering on October 3rd. If you pre-order it, not only will you be guaranteed to receive one, you'll get $1 off.
