Want to try something new? Stop by the market this afternoon from 4-6 pm to taste some w**es from down under with Nick from Easterly Distributors. 🇦🇺

Featured in today’s tasting are a lineup of delicious w**es from Tasmanian producer Small Wonder, as well as some of Australia’s more well known w**es from producer Best’s Great Western.

We know Browne is more well known as an old world w**e selection, but we strive to carry great w**es from all over the world. We hope you are able to attend tonight and explore this often overlooked area of our selection!

We aren’t afraid of these seasons changing here at Browne! It just means an excuse to change up our nightly w**e rotation.

If you’re looking to explore some new options for the cooler weather, look no further than this evening’s tasting.

Join us tonight from 4-6 pm to taste this lineup of w**es from Southern France with Jacques Herviou of Hand Picked Selections. Taste some fresh w**es from Provence for the last gasps of summer, followed by heartier w**es from the Southern Rhone for chillier fall evenings.

We hope to see you there!

Our next installment in our Summer tasting series is a near and dear one to our w**e room staff.

Sierra and Stuart only discovered the ch*****nes of Elise Dechannes a few months ago through a recommendation from Nick Doherty. These ch*****nes exceeded any and all expectations they had, and became a new hyper fixation to say the least.

Sadly, Elise retired from w**emaking at the end of 2025, Maine has likely received our last inventory of her w**es. As a way to claim as many bottles as we could, as well as to be able to share them with our customers one last time, we decided the only appropriate course of action would be to hold a tasting of her w**es.

Join us this Thursday August 13th from 4-6 pm for a last bash for this incredible grower ch*****ne producer, and to claim what bottles you can before they are gone for good! 🍾

New Blue in the Market this week!

Meet Azul Mama Marisa by Rey Silo. Owners of Spain’s oldest cheese recipe, the Mama Marisa is a new venture for the producer, named after his mother.

This cave aged raw cow’s milk cheese has beautiful streaks of blue marbled throughout and is produced in collaboration with chef Jose Andres. These are the first wheels from this project, 11 years in the making, to be released to the public for purchase.

Not your average blue cheese, this cheese leans on the crumbly and earthy side, for those looking to get into blue cheese without having to embrace the funk.

Come get it while you can!

Looking for pre-dinner plans tonight? Look no further than our regularly schedule w**e tastings. 🍾

Tonight from 4-6 pm we will be pouring a delightful lineup of w**es from the northern Spanish region of Catalunya, with John McCarroll of 𝘾𝙤𝙚𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮. We always love when we are able to have a representative from the importer in the market to talk about the w**es, and are so grateful that John was able to make the trip up for us this week!

So come by and taste these summery w**es (along with some paired snacks) and hopefully learn a bit more about Catalunya!

Anyone who spends even a small amount of time in the Browne W**e Room will be familiar with the w**es of Elisabetta Fagiouli of Montenidoli. This Tuscan producer is famous for her bottlings of Vernaccia, made with a classic Italian Grandmother touch. This week’s tasting will feature her Vernaccia, while also highlighting other w**es of her portfolio which should not be slept on.

We hope to see you there!
