I was thinking about my Heritage and I looked back and I remembered I was the Grandkid of Two Marvelous woman: Anita Cordova and Maria de Jesus Madera,

My Grandma Anita Was An American citizen, she worked hard and passed away last year at 98 years old, she's one of the reasons why I moved here, when I was in elementary school she always told me, hey mijo I'm taking you with me to the US, and here I am.

My Other Grandma Maria de jesus Madera passed away at 60 years old, she owned a taco shop in Guadalajara Mexico, and when I stayed with her for summer breaks, i used to go to her house, and i Saw the process of prepping Everything, Cooking and Cutting, onions, cilantro, salsas, Beans, potatoes, Adobada, etc. when I'm cooking in my food truck and I close my eyes, it takes me back to my childhood, it's like going back in time, and keeping their legacy alive, who said time travel doesn't exist?

I Always remember my Two Grandmas with Much Love and Respect ❤️ 🥲

Hello !! Guys We have been dealing with all the Prosecution that is happening against BROWN PEOPLE.😓

LATELY I was doing something that was erasing a part of me, I was erasing my culture, I was asking my daughter to avoid speaking Spanish, I was teaching her about American stuff and forgetting our culture just to fit in, and don't be judged by other people because of our looks and our traditions. 😢

I felt Sad and depressed because honestly I quit playing Mexican music, etc etc. 🎵🎶🎼

Even that I'm legally here, and my grandma was an American citizen I'm technically 3rd generation my daughter is 4th Generation, I feel anxiety because Everyone can be kidnapped by these peoplem kidnapping people just by their looks. 👨🏾👨🏽

Since i came to Portland All the people Was So Freaking Awesome and Kind and polite and friendly I just want to thank you All who made us feel like home. 🏕🏘🌈🏔
