Columbia Farms U-Pick Family-operated farm offering fresh produce, berries, peonies, and more on Sauvie Island. We hope to see you soon!

Located on picturesque Sauvie Island, Columbia Farms U-Pick was planted in the early 1990s. We started with one acre of strawberries and now offer more than fifteen different types of berries, covering over eighty acres. We also have flowers, tomatoes, pumpkins and all types of fall décor items. Our family strives to keep the true essence of a working farm for our visitors. Anyone and everyone is welcome to pick berries, picnic under our handmade gazebo, or simply enjoy the scenery.

Hello friends! Our blackberry fields are overflowing and we’re having a little u-pick pop up this SATURDAY, August 15th from 9am-noon! Come see us and fill your pints with Galaxy and Triple Crown blackberries! 💟

And because so many of you asked - we’ll also have our ice cream machine up and running again, and we’ll be serving STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM for the last time this year! 🍓🍦

Good morning friends! This is a reminder that today, Saturday August 1st, is our last day of the season. We’re open until 5! Come pick blackberries, blueberries, and get your last berry ice cream. 🍦

Berry season is slowing down here at Columbia Farms U-Pick. Saturday, August 1st is our last day of the 2026 season. I checked the fields this morning and here is what to expect if you visit:

🫐Blueberries: light picking conditions and lots of bee 🐝 activity. You’ll find the most berries in the older Legacy variety when you walk closer to the road.
🖤Blackberries: light picking conditions and lots of bee 🐝 activity. Our older Triple Crown field has more berries but the bees seem to enjoy that field more. Pick with caution! ⚠️ Our new Galaxy 🌌 variety is just starting and still has a lot of underripe fruit.
🚜Pre-picked berries: we have just a few half flats of blueberries. First come, first served.
🍦Ice Cream: flavor is boysenberry 💜

Hours: Saturday, 9am - 5pm*
Twilight Picking: Wednesdays, 5-8pm*
*entry to field ends 30 minutes prior to close

Hi Friends! We are still enjoying the sweetness of berry season here at Columbia Farms. We have a few varieties still available in the field and a new berry coming up soon! Read below for our most recent crop update:

🫐Blueberries: decent picking conditions in the Legacy variety. Moderate picking conditions in the Chandler and Calypso varieties.
🩷Pink Lemonades: we have a few out there! Not plentiful picking but you can find enough to sprinkle over the top of your pint boxes.
🖤Blackberries: decent picking conditions on the Triple-Crowns. These are my favorite blackberry variety!
💜Marionberries: field is still open for light picking.
❤️Raspberries: their season is done but you’re welcome to search in the field.
🌌New Berry Alert! We have a new blackberry variety this year called Galaxy. They will be ready for u-pick on July 29. The flavor is incredible and has hints of “blueberry, mint, and grape.” You don’t want to miss them!
🚜Pre-Picked berries: we have blueberries available in our market. First come, first served.
🍦Ice cream flavor is boysenberry 🥰

Hey friends! Just a reminder that we are now closed Tuesdays, and our new hours start this week. We’ll be playing tomorrow’s Twilight Pick by ear and will announce our plan tomorrow, taking both heat and air quality into consideration.

In the meantime, here are some berry storage tips to help you make the most of what you pick when we do see you again! 💜
