My love affair with food started when I was 15 years old and to this day that love has only blossomed. A full sensory activity, what’s not to love? My self-taught journey led me through creating private dinner parties and working at bakeries and restaurants and finally to a Le Cordon Bleu-certified culinary education where I spent 14 months learning from top chefs. Following graduation and certifi

cation, I landed a coveted year-long externship at a 4-star restaurant which paved the way to my dream job as a personal chef in Portland, Oregon. There, under the guidance of a certified dietician, I was given free license to create imaginative recipes meeting our clients’ dietary needs. This was the moment my culinary creativity really took off. Taking full advantage of the prolific organic and local food sources available in the Portland, Oregon area, I proved that dietary restriction does not mean sacrificing flavor or variety! Today, I continue to expand my awareness of what it means to be healthy and I find great enjoyment in sharing my passion with others who are interested in dining well in support of living their lives to the healthiest and fullest.
