Construction is moving right along at The Village Pickle, and we're getting closer to opening our doors!

This week's progress includes:
-Court overhead doors going in
-Concrete floor grinding underway
-Bar low wall finishes taking shape
-Drywall installation on the court walls
-Insulation throughout the building
-Exterior painting
-Exterior trench infill and concrete work

Every week brings us one step closer to welcoming you to Portland's newest home for pickleball, great food, drinks, and community.

Neighborhood Spotlight: Salvi PDX

One of the things we love most about Multnomah Village is the incredible local food scene, and Salvi PDX is a must-visit.

Located just down the road at 7840 SW Capitol Highway, this family-owned restaurant serves authentic Salvadoran cuisine with a modern twist—all from a 100% gluten-free kitchen.

From their handmade pupusas to flavorful traditional dishes, every meal celebrates their motto: "Salvadoran Roots. Portland Attitude."

Beyond the restaurant, Salvi PDX is deeply connected to the community through private catering and cultural events that bring people together over food and storytelling.

As we get closer to opening Village Pickle, we're so excited to become part of a neighborhood filled with passionate local businesses like Salvi PDX.

After years of experience in events and chasing that active lifestyle (whether I’m playing sports, traveling, or attending live games), I’m beyond thrilled to be a part of this brand-new pickleball facility for our community.
