This weekend Mc8 BBQ Sauce took a walk on the wild side and drove a few hours to Edna, TX to compete in an IBCA BBQ competition.

What we learned:
Texas 107° temp is brutal.
Even the best laid plans still can go sideways.
Our photography skills are very lacking.

We had a great time and walked away with the 6th place ribs, 11th place chicken and 5th place chef choice. We've perfected BBQ sauce but still need to work on our comp skills!

Thanks to Mark & Texas Rebel Smoked Meat Co. for always providing the best meats for us to work with!

Arrived home from work to a wonderful surprise! Mc8 BBQ Sauce coming in clutch for the competition this coming weekend in Bandera. Thank you for delivering it personally Steve.

This sauce has been a part of all my recent walks! 1st place chicken in Somerset, 3rd ribs in Helotes, 9th Chicken in Seguin!!!!

Let’s see what Bandera has in store for some of the best sauce out there!
