As Honey gets closer to calving, there will be some noticeable changes in her body and her over all demeanor.

Below are a few pictures that I will show as time goes on and you'll notice differences from today until she calves (due date Oct 31).

Each picture will have a description of what the arrows are pointing at and what it means and the signs to look for .

Each cow carries calves differently, gets her body prepared differently, and calves differently just like we do. Some cows bag up a week before they calve while some bag up right before. Some drop their pins earlier and some later. Some distance themselves and some not at all.

•2026 4th cutting NON GMO alflafa

•Non GMO (non genetically modified organism) which means it has never been sprayed with round-up.

•Extremely fine stemmed. Beautiful quality. Great for horses, dairy cows/goats, sheep, rabbits etc (As you can tell, horse and cattle approved!)

•We have personally fed this to our jersey cows they performed great on it. There has been a noticeable increase in milk production after feeding this high quality alfalfa.

We have finally got around to put our Aquatech bottle washer, all of the attachments for the bottle washer, all of the bottles and crates as a set for sale for $12,000.

This Aquatech bottle washer is set up to wash normal items along with specialized racks and nozzles for 1/2 gallon milk bottles. This washer can be easily set up to wash any type of glass bottles or jars. Aquatech sells specialized racks to wash 1/2 gallon bottles, gallon jars, w**e bottles, etc.

This is a very high end commercial washing machine we used it on our small scale dairy to wash our bottles along with other milking equipment. This machine is roughly 2 years old and in excellent shape (we have the original receipt we can show to whoever is interested).

We have 4 sets of bottle racks that go with it along with 87 blue milk crates (made from Stanpac) with built in dividers that keep the bottles from knocking together during handling and transport. Included also is roughly 1,200-1,500 1/2 gallon bottles (48mm top made from Stanpac).

We have added another 4-legged friend to the farm yesterday!

Madyson decided to name her Sterling. She is a perfect fit for our daughter and I couldn't be more pleased! Sterling is 12 years old, gaited, used to working cattle, has a very calm demeanor and is very patient which is what we needed since we are completely new to horses.

God has always blessed us with great animals that suited our needs so I left it in His hands once again to help us find a horse that is best for our family. So far, Sterling is perfect.

I have seen these posts that shows their "rich". I, unfortunately, slack on taking videos and pictures to capture precious moments since my hands are usually busy but these snib bits are my definition of "rich" and it brings me great joy.

Since we have drastically downsized our herd, where I usually kept the girls to graze, sleep and milk is not necessary anymore. I can easily keep Honey, T-bone, and any other animal I choose close to me! 1. I can keep a better eye on them and 2. who doesn't like to look out their back yard and see cows ❤️? I do! 🙋‍♀️

Honey is currently dried off and isn't due to calve until the end of October beginning of Novemeber. So her and I are taking a good long break until we are to start our daily milking routine again. Until then, her and I are taking it easy. While she does as she pleases, I am taking the time to enjoy the little things and take my time getting things ready to start milking her again✨️.

My new milking regime will no longer look anything like it use to. I will now be milking her up near the house where everything is easily accessible. I will still be keeping everything just as clean as I have before and I will still be tending to my animals with love and care as I did with my past herd. Just now, it will be more slow paced and easily enjoyed ☺️.

The amazing barn that we built, that is a 1/4 mile away from our house by the way 😅, has most definitely not gone to waste. It is now being used for our equipment and a large work shop for the hard working man in my life which he so deserves 🫶🏼. And what all the cows use to graze on is now being used to bale hay for my animals and for sale.

With all that being said, enjoy a short clip of me putting up the tempory fencing so these two can enjoy some fresher grass to graze 😊.
