Kitchen Suds 🫧🤎

After only making my seasonal Harvest Suds dish soap, I knew I wanted to make a solid dish soap that could stay year-round.

Simple ingredients, a reusable ramekin, and a little dish brush. Just a good old-fashioned way to wash the dishes without another plastic bottle sitting by the sink.

Handmade in small batches, right here in the Nebraska heartland. Refills will also be available soon. They are currently curing!

Our best-selling whipped tallows are officially RESTOCKED! And if you’re new around here, let me introduce you.

Our whipped tallow is a rich, creamy moisturizer made with grass-fed beef tallow and nourishing oils. Our beef tallow is sourced locally here in the heartland of Nebraska.

It melts into the skin as you massage it in, leaving your skin feeling soft, moisturized, and deeply nourished all without a long ingredient list.

Let’s break down each whipped tallow:

PURE — Unscented and simple. Perfect for sensitive skin or anyone who loves tallow just as it is.

MORNING BREW — Our cozy, warm favorite. Infused with real coffee beans and vanilla beans for an amazing, rich scent.

There’s a whole lot of tallow happening around here lately. 🤎🐄

One roaster is infusing frankincense + myrrh for our new and improved heirloom blend. The middle pan is full of freshly rendered tallow + jojoba cooling down to become our pure unscented whipped tallow. And meanwhile there’s 30 POUNDS of raw suet slowly rendering down in another roaster.

I’m working hard to get everything restocked ASAP, but behind Grace Abode is just one woman doing her best. I’m a mom, wife, maker, packer, and everything in between.

Slow work takes time, but I promise I’m working on it. Thank you for being patient with me and for loving these little batches of handmade goodness as much as I love making them. 🥹

Myth #1: “Handmade soap still has lye in it.”
Truth: Lye is an ingredient needed to create real soap, but during the saponification process it combines with the oils and transforms into soap. A properly made and cured bar does not contain active lye.

Myth #2: “Handmade soap is just expensive because it’s trendy.”
Truth: Here at Grace Abode, every bar is made with intention. From choosing quality oils and ingredients, to mixing, pouring, cutting, and curing for weeks before it’s ready. You’re not just buying a bar of soap, you’re supporting a slow, hands-on craft.

Myth #3: “All soap is the same.”
Truth: Many commercial bars are detergents made with synthetic ingredients and can contain additives designed for shelf life and mass production. Grace Abode provides handmade soap that is crafted in small batches with carefully chosen ingredients.

Baby boy made his arrival 3 weeks ago, and I’ve been soaking up every cuddle, slow morning, and sweet newborn moment these past few weeks.

Thank you all so much for the love, support, patience, and orders while I’ve been adjusting to this new season of motherhood again. It means more than you know.

I’ll be restocking all your favorites very soon + I’ll also be joining the Kimball NE Farmers Market sometime next month! I’m so excited to share more details, new products, and more market updates with you all soon.
