Documenting New York state’s biggest tree, and a contender for the National champion, eastern cottonwood, (Populus deltoides). The tree measures 33 feet 9 1/4 inches in circumference and is 108 feet tall. Total of 539 big tree points! It’s located in Rensselaer County, NY. Breaking News.
