One of the places I’ve wanted to visit since before I ever set foot in Florida… The Bubble Room!

When I first started looking into Florida, this was one of the places that immediately went on my must-visit list. Then hurricane after hurricane came through, and every time they rebuilt and kept going.

Today, we finally made it there for lunch!

It was every bit as fun, colorful, and over-the-top as I imagined. Definitely worth the wait and another little Florida adventure checked off the list!

The last few days have been all about exploring and enjoying Florida a little differently. We’ve been checking out new beaches, relaxing at pool bars, kayaking, collecting shells, and just taking in everything around us.

One of my favorite moments was our kayak trip through a beautiful little grove and out toward an island sandbar, where we got to see a manatee along the way. There’s something pretty special about being out on the water and seeing wildlife like that in its own space.

Lots of exploring, plenty of sunshine, and making some really good memories along the way.

What a beautiful day exploring Florida!

This morning’s walk brought us an unforgettable sight: Mama gator and her 32 babies! 🐊

This afternoon we enjoyed a peaceful walk along the beach and found so many beautiful shells.

And to finish the day, we headed out for a nighttime history tour. Such a fun day filled with wildlife, sunshine, the beach, and a little history!

Making memories and enjoying every minute of this trip. ❤️

For the first time in 3 years, my husband and I are taking a trip without the kids. ❤️

Life has been A LOT these past few years. Between everything life has thrown at our family, responsibilities, and having everyone but one person in our house face life-threatening injuries and illnesses, there hasn't been much opportunity for the two of us to simply step away, breathe, and enjoy some time together.

And coming back to Fort Myers makes this trip even more meaningful.

The last time we were here, it was right after the hurricane. We saw the damage and devastation firsthand and saw how much this community had ahead of it to rebuild.

Now we're back, walking through town together, and the growth is incredible. So much has been rebuilt, so much has come back to life, and there's still so much more to come. It's really something special to witness.

This trip isn't just about getting away. It's about my husband and me having time together, making memories, laughing, exploring, and remembering that after all the hard seasons, we're allowed to enjoy the good ones too.

The Cluckin’ Pantry will still be here when I get home. For a little while, I'm stepping away from the stand, the responsibilities, and the everyday chaos to enjoy this life we've worked so hard to get back to.

Just us. No kids. No schedules. Just some much-needed time together. ❤️

Slowly getting back into canning and growing the Cluckin’ Pantry inventory!

This time around, I’m not just filling the shelves for the stand. I’m making sure there’s plenty for our family, some to share with family, and some to stock the stand with homemade goodness.

The shelves are already starting to fill up with peppers, mustards, relishes, jellies, broth and more. There’s something so satisfying about seeing all those jars add up!

I’ll keep canning as the garden produces and slowly build up our stash. It feels good to be back at it!
