Did you know that you can put your cornstarch peanuts straight into the worm bin? The cornstarch acts as a "brown" material in the compost. If you are unsure whether the peanuts are compostable or not, you can try to dissolve the material in water before feeding it to the worms 💩🪱🌱

Mad hippie is considered a clean beauty brand and it receives a great score on the yuka app. This company also makes an effort to use glass containers instead of plastic, which makes my worms happy! Microplastics in the soil will change the structure and water-retention capacity, kill off healthy microbes, and bio-accumulate in the food web and become absorbed through the root systems of crops... ultimately having a negative impact on humans.
