Just Another Day at the Farm

There’s nothing quite like watching dogs run wild through the farm fields, chasing each other through the tall grass and cooling off with a swim in the pond. 🐕

Fresh air, open fields, muddy paws, and plenty of room to run—this is what farm life is all about.

We’re excited to welcome one of our newest local suppliers, Minard Farms, a family farm right here in the beautiful Hudson Valley! We’re proud to source locally whenever we can, and we’re especially happy to be bringing their delicious apple c***r to Kindred Creeks Farm.

And yes… the Apple C***r Donuts are back! 🍩🍎

You can also pick up Minard Farms Apple C***r in the Farm Store by the gallon, half-gallon, or pint.

🌿 The Loofah Journey Begins! 🌿

We’re growing loofahs at the farm this year, and we thought it would be fun to take you along for the whole process!

Right now, our vines are climbing the trellis and covered in beautiful yellow flowers, with little loofahs beginning to form. 🌼💚

Fun fact: Loofahs are actually edible when they’re young! Picked at about 3–4 inches, they can be cooked and eaten much like a summer squash—and they’re said to have a flavor similar to cucumber.

But we’re letting ours grow all the way to the other end of the journey… where they’ll dry on the vine, be harvested and peeled, and reveal the natural sponges hiding inside! 🧽

Stay tuned—we’ll share each step of the process as our loofah journey unfolds! 🌱
