We are open Thursdays 4-9PM, Fridays 2-9PM, Saturdays 12-9PM and Sundays from 12-8. We are Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse, Kitsap County’s first established Cidery. While the craft breweries are bustling with quality and unique brews, there was a void in the cider community that the Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse was happy to fill. At Bushel and barrel Ciderhouse, we have a vision that extends beyond

the craft cider we produce that we want to share with the community. The mantra at Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse is “Micro Cidery... Macro Cause.” What this means to us is that we do not want to be just a business that just merely exists, but a vessel to provide community development and an avenue to help local citizens in need. We plan to implement a business model that produces a series of ciders where a large percentage of the profits go to local charities and projects. By re-investing our profits back into the community, we hope to create awareness within our circle of influence that every small action can create exponential gains, and ultimately cause change on a macro level. Open Hours: Thursdays 4-9PM Fridays 2-9PM, Saturdays 12-9PM and Sundays from 12-8. . we just ask that you keep an eye on them and not let them run wild. Eventually this summer we will have a better outside setup for children, but for now we need you to keep an eye on the kiddos. Dog Friendly: dogs are allowed on leash outside. We have an operating farm, so it is VERY important to use that you keep your dogs leashed and under your direct control. Food: we will have food from various food trucks and Beaver Bend Farm Catering. Come hungry, we will have you covered! No, first come, first served. Parking: Please park only in the tasting room parking lot, or on the side of the road of the tasting room. Overflow parking available on event days in the back pasture.

🍺🥨 PROST! Our 6th Annual Ciderhaus Oktoberfest is coming! 🥨🍺🍎

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 27th and come celebrate with us at Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse for one of our favorite traditions of the year — our 6th Annual Ciderhaus Oktoberfest! 🇩🇪🍻

Oktoberfest has its roots in Bavaria, Germany, beginning in Munich more than 200 years ago as a celebration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. The celebration was such a hit that it became an annual tradition filled with food, music, drinks, games, and community gathering.

And while it may be called Oktoberfest, the celebration traditionally begins in September! Over the years, the festivities were moved earlier to take advantage of the longer days and warmer September weather — and we are more than happy to carry on that tradition right here in Poulsbo.

Here at Bushel & Barrel, we put our own ciderhouse-and-farm spin on Oktoberfest with a full day of music, games, ridiculous competitions, great drinks, and lots of community fun.

🎺 THE HOMETOWN BAND — 2 PM to 5 PM
Get ready for a BIG OOMPAH-STYLE BRASS BAND EXPERIENCE with The Hometown Band! Big horns, festive energy, and the kind of music that makes it almost impossible not to clap along, dance, and raise a stein. 🍺🎶

And yes — WE WANT TO SEE THOSE LEDERHOSEN AND DIRNDLS! 🇩🇪
Dress up, get festive, and come ready to celebrate. Traditional attire is definitely encouraged, but not required.

Throughout the day, we’ll also have plenty of Oktoberfest-style fun, including:

🌭 Wiener Carving
🏆 Games, contests, prizes, and more!

We also plan to showcase a wide variety of special Oktoberfest-inspired brews and concoctions from local breweries, alongside our own ciderhouse favorites. Expect plenty of fun seasonal pours and festive flavors to help us properly toast the occasion. 🍻🍎

🎻🪕 LIVE MUSIC FRIDAY: DUMPSTER JOE AT BUSHEL & BARREL! 🪕🎻

We are SO excited to welcome Dumpster Joe to Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse on Friday, September 11 from 6–8 PM!

Based out of Portland, Dumpster Joe loves taking his music throughout the Pacific Northwest, and he brings a sound that is unlike just about anything else you’ll hear. Think 1920s and ’30s porch-sittin’ country, old-time blues, junk-band sounds, and bluegrass tunes all rolled together into one wonderfully eclectic performance.

And then there’s his voice. 😂 You really have to hear Dumpster Joe to completely understand just how awesome and unique this guy is.** His sound feels like something pulled out of an old photograph—a little gritty, a little quirky, a little backwoods, and a whole lot of fun. If you enjoy old-time music, banjo pickin’, roots music, blues, bluegrass, and performers with genuine personality, you do not want to miss this one!

🔥🍖 Da “Q” Shack BBQ will be joining us for dinner, serving up **great BBQ and more!** Grab yourself something delicious, order a cold cider, and settle in for an evening of live music on the farm.

🫏 SATURDAY PAINT & SIP FUN! 🫏🎨

We had such a fun Saturday at Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse with another fabulous Paint & Sip with Bougie Boobu Art — and this time, we brought a little fall donkey to life! 🍂🫏🍎

This painting is the latest in a whole series of creations that have captured the fun, quirky farm spirit of Bushel & Barrel over the season. So far, we’ve painted a Highland cow, a pony, a goat, a muddy pig, Rosie the Riveter… and now we officially have a DONKEY to add to the collection! ❤️

A huge thank you to Kara and her incredible creativity for continuing to turn our lovable farm animals and crazy little ideas into paintings that everyone can enjoy. We are so thankful for the fun she has brought to the ciderhouse this year!

We’re planning on having just ONE more Paint & Sip before we close out the season, so make sure you keep an eye out for the announcement. 👀🎨

Because around here, we think it’s pretty great to be different. ❤️ We love our eclectic patrons, our quirky personalities, and our wonderfully unique animals — and Jimothy just might be the perfect character to help us close out this year’s painting season.

It’s BAAA-MASTE Goat Yoga Night!

If you’ve purchased tickets for Goat Yoga, please arrive anytime between 5–6 PM, with yoga beginning at 6 PM.

Not doing yoga? No problem! We are OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC from 5–8 PM, so come grab a drink, wander around the farm, say hi to the animals, and enjoy a relaxing Thursday evening with us. ❤️

🐐🧘‍♀️ Another Thursday BAAA-MASTE in the books!🧘‍♀️🐐

We had SUCH a great time at Thursday’s Goat Yoga session, and judging by these pictures… we’re pretty sure the goats had an even better time than we did! 😂💚

These babies were absolutely hilarious — climbing, bouncing, snuggling, causing chaos and doing everything except actually respecting anyone’s personal yoga space. 😂🐐

Our sessions have been filling up quickly, and we honestly aren’t sure how much longer we’ll be able to keep BAAA-MASTE going this season. The babies are getting bigger, and before we know it, some of them will be heading off to their new homes. 🥹

So we’re going to soak up every last goofy, cuddly, chaotic goat-yoga moment while we can!

🌲👣 CALLING VENDORS! 👣🌲

We’re getting ready for the 6th Annual Soggy Sasquatch Festival, happening October 10–11 at Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse, and I’m looking to add a limited number of vendors to the weekend!

This is not a general vendor call—we’re looking for items that really fit the rugged, woodsy, Sasquatch/fall-market vibe of the festival, including:

👣 Sasquatch / Bigfoot-themed items
🪵 Woodworking
🔨 Metal work
🪧 Custom signs
🏡 Home goods
🍂 Unique fall market items
🌲 Other handmade goods that fit the PNW/Sasquatch theme

There is NO vendor fee. However, because we will have live chainsaw carving happening throughout the festival, vendors must be completely set up before noon and remain set up until at least 6 PM, possibly later. We cannot have vehicles moving through the vendor/patron area during the event, both for your safety and the safety of our guests.

If you’re interested, please message Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse directly with a little information about what you make and some photos or a link to your work. I’ll send additional details from there.

❤️ A small caveat: We won’t be able to accept every vendor who reaches out. This particular market has a very specific theme and I’m intentionally keeping the vendor selection small and curated. If your products aren’t quite the right fit for this one, please don’t be discouraged—we host other events throughout the year and would love the opportunity to showcase different makers at another market.

If you make something that would look right at home in a Sasquatch-filled PNW fall festival, I definitely want to hear from you! 🌲🍎🔥👣
