I was lucky enough to taste a spirit distilled in 1888.
That’s the 19th century—very much alive.

1989. The year the world tore down walls and plugged into the future. In Normandy, a few apples chose a different path — distilled, laid down in oak, and left to grow more interesting with age.
Thirty-five years later, they’ve emerged as our BHAKTA 1989 Calvados. Just released.
Only three barrels exist, and I’ve claimed my share.

Apples never tasted so good. But then, most aren’t 1989 vintage.
