Our Cotton is blooming! such a fascinating plant to grow! Cotton blooming typically occurs from early July through August, with the flowers opening as creamy white and turning pink within a day. The flowers shed within a week as the fertilized ovules develop into cotton bolls. Adequate moisture and fertility are crucial during this period to ensure a good boll set, which is essential for a successful harvest.
