Golden Acres is a family operated choose-and-cut Christmas Tree Farm located on Orchard Street in Pownal, Vermont with carefully groomed trees where our focus is on a full Christmas experience. We are geographically located in the Southwestern corner of Vermont, 4 miles east of the New York line and 3 miles north of the Massachusetts line. We offer sheared choose-and-cut Christmas trees in the fol

lowing varieties:
�Fraser Fir
�Balsam Fir

Our prices include all of the standard services: shaking debris out of your tree and netting your tree. We also offer complimentary fresh baked goods and hot chocolate daily! Golden Acres also offers fresh wreaths in sizes ranging from 8-inch to 36-inch diameter. All wreaths are made on the farm and custom decorated to your specifications. Wreath prices start at $20. We will be open starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving and continue until the selection of quality trees is depleted. We look forward to your visit and hope you will make us part of your holiday traditions!

We are now CLOSED for our 2025 tree season. We blinked and the season was over! We close early to ensure a solid supply of trees for years to come.

Thank you very much to our wonderful friends and families who have been coming back to make this all happen year after year. Thank you as well to all the new and returning customers who came out and made it a great season. We love being a part of your holiday traditions.

There’s still time to sign up for our upcoming wreath making workshops!

We’ve partnered with the Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion again this year to bring you the ever-popular Wreath Making event! Learn how to make a beautiful seasonal evergreen wreath as we guide you in the making process. We will even teach you how to tie a proper bow.
