A great man has gone form the world. Wendell Berry’s writing on agrarian life and meaning of place have changed my life. His novel Jayber Crow, and all the books in the Port William Membership are among my favorite books. Thank you, Mr Berry, for teaching us the importance of presence, settling in, and caretaking place.
