We ended up with 4 Pita Pinta chicks! In this breed, chick down can be white or yellow and has no bearing on what their adult feathering will be. We thought it’s funny we have an even split of 2 yellow and 2 white chicks. Regardless, they’re already very social. And peep those little tail feathers coming in already! 😍

The egg-straordinary moment has arrived - our first black mottled Pita Pinta Asturiana chick has hatched! 🤍🖤🤍🖤 It's been a while since we've hatched a purebred chick, and we're egg-stra thrilled! Here's hoping a few more will hatch in the next day or two. And, we're not done yet - another batch of eggs is in the bator! We’re egg-static about growing our small flock of this egg-ceptional breed! Just couldn’t help myself…….🙈🤣🤣

This is a great nail trimming hack for those with long haired dogs (like Old English sheepdogs) who use Dremels or nail grinders to trim nails. It keeps the hair out of the way and is easy to reposition. It also will not get caught in the Dremel. It’s the easiest thing I’ve tried so far, and will probably use this from here on out. The only thing needed is duct tape. You can use a hole punch, but I used scissors to cut the hole in the middle. Cheap, easy, and effective!

Would anyone be interested in buying hand blown shells for Spring and Easter decorations and crafts? I have a variety of colors available. All from our happy, free ranged hens. I don’t use any chemicals and all are dried and sanitized thoroughly. 2️⃣/shell.

I have some available with larger holes, but I’m working on a new technique that leaves a much smaller hole. Message if interested. Local pickup in Prague, OK.
