Today we took some time to wander through our cover crop plot. We seeded a very diverse warm season mix back in June designed by GreenCover to improve organic matter and increase nutrient cycling. We’ve been so pleased with how things are growing! This plot is our weediest one and we’re surprised at just how much the mix has outcompeted many of our most troublesome weeds.

We plan on letting this mix winter kill to be planted into with cash crops in the spring. But for now, we and the bees will keep enjoying its beauty. 🌻 🐝 🌾
