Hard to find the words to express those moments when things just work out the way they are supposed to. Congratulations to Keenan Stultz and his registered herd of Golden Sky Farms Sables and Saanen dairy goats for their exemplary show results from the 2026 Sunflower Doe-Down Dairy Goat Show in Salina this past weekend. Best In Show went to his favorite saanen Klisses TH Allamanda. GCH and RGCH from two rings flip-flopped between Allamanda and Zao Snows Preciuos Luk. Official champion legs for both. Then in Sables, our dear Eagle Valley Icing on the Cake won her third official Grand Champion leg award, making her a permanent champion. Also earned a GCH official leg for Sweetbriar RP Rylee, our three year old who is also a queen in the milk room with last two tests at 15 lbs and 14lbs production! It's not just that these does did well on that day in the show ring, it is the day in day out complete dedication of the herd manager that brings these animals to their best life. Thanks to all who helped at Salina. You are appreciated so much more than you can imagine! Dairy goat people are a breed apart and just top notch people.
In the jr show we had the GCH Saanen in one ring (official jr leg) Vineyard View Yuzu Kapi'olani, and GCH Sable in one ring (official jr leg) Epic GSF RShine Thistle. Love all the friendly competition! Again, goat folks are the best.

The wildflowers are just beautiful this time of year at Golden Sky Farms ! Someday we also want to give wildflower tours here. The goats like to nibble on the yucca lily blooms. Found the herd manager eating them too. He said they taste like green unsalted potato chips and were a great all natural snack! Hmmm. I wonder if we could sell a special goat cheese wrapped in yucca blooms? We have plenty of each. Enjoying these gifts from God!
