For the finally of National School Lunch Week we celebrated two different fun days. First we explored the beautiful country of ITALY and we got to CELEBRATE PASTA DAY!!
PISD Students go to have a choice of pastas while getting a taste of ITALY!!

PREMONT ISD Joins National Celebration Highlighting the Importance of School Lunch in Fueling Students for Success

– For today’s students, the cafeteria is more than just a place to eat; it’s a hub for connection, community, and recharging for the day ahead. School lunch plays a vital role by offering a healthy, tasty, and budget-friendly way to fuel growing minds and bodies. From October 13-17, students at PREMONT ISD will celebrate National School Lunch Week with festive activities and globally inspired menus that highlight the value and fun of school meals.

This year’s theme, “Taste the World: Your School Lunch Passport,” invites students to taste the global flavors available through PREMONT ISDS school meals program. Featuring two special programs from food service partner Chartwells K12, Global Eats, which introduces students to internationally inspired dishes, kids can explore meals from around the globe without leaving the school cafeteria.
