Just when I think I found a breeder that I can source from I see them post a picture of what they are calling a "True Black" Silkie chick. (realizing they are not true blacks) Still ISO: ***TRUE*** Black Silkie genetics (eggs or chicks). (To compliment my current TRUE Black breeders).

Have you been to Sweet Beet Bakery yet? Today ashley adkison, who owns Sweet Beet Bakery came to pick up chickens and she brought me some of her AMAZING treats!!!! Mark my words (yes, I'm 102), it's just a matter of time before she receives a Michelin star award for her bakery-So fricken good, and she's so creative too! I mean seriously=look at the millions of tender flakey soft layers, the perfect crispy edges...and all of the creative flavors! Thank you so much Ashley, you made my day!

Today I was feeling pretty down, I'll spare the details, it doesn't really matter. I was having a rough time at my oncology appointment today and when I was leaving I stopped at the desk to schedule my next appointments & scans. The scheduler was SO incredibly kind...she said to me "I hope you enjoy your day, is it nice outside?" I said no, it's raining, then she said "Well I hope you see a double rainbow then!" Nice thing to say...I told her if I do I will think of her. Got home and looked out to the east....and saw a DOUBLE FRICKEN RAINBOW! Un believable! This phone pic doesn't pick it up that well, but here it is. Believe what you want...this was like a slap in the face for me to let it go and just have faith. Each day is a gift, and we really do not know what the future will be.

Photoshoot time! I'm so excited about these little Mottled fluff balls I have to share! Just a few of them...I was going to take some outside but it's been raining all day. Maybe tomorrow...and I'll include all of them. :) NFS BC: Queen Bee Silkies
