I started making the brittle for my husband who loves it! We tried to find a kind that he liked that wasn't overpriced and kept getting disappointed. Most of the kinds that we tried were thin and so crunchy that they got stuck in our teeth. After many many tweeks and failures I finally managed to create the ultimate brittle. And now the whole family is hooked! Our 3 year old son says "Me hungry fo
r your peanut brittle". It's not just about peanut brittle anymore. I've come up with some delicious combinations of different nuts and ingredients. The brittle I make is light and airy and is not as hard on your teeth. Each bite makes you want another. I make each batch individually and fresh to order and every batch is over a pound and is over 5 cups. Normally I sell in full batches but I do offer half batches for someone who wants to try it and see if they want more! I have many return customers and I appreciate everyone of them.
$13 Peanut or Cashew Peanut brittle is a sweet and salty crunch that is light and airy and totally addictive
$14 Cashew brittle is a little more rich and buttery with just cashews
$14 Coconut Peanut brittle is a rich crunchy peanut mixture with the slight chew of coconut at the end
$14 Trail Mix brittle (aka "Christmas Crack" is a mixture of crunchy mixed nuts with extra almonds and dried cranberries (my weakness!!)
$14 Pecan brittle is just that...full of pecans! I have tried all kinds of ingredients and have loved the results on most! Peanut candy corn, peanut brittle topped with marshmallows and chocolate chips, bacon peanut, pretzel, peanut with orange slices or cinnamon candies...someone even wanted crushed peppermint candies. I have even made what I called "empty" brittle...no nuts, just the brittle part. If you have a special request, please let me know. Although the extra specialty requests usually run $1 more a batch.
