I’ve had the privilege of witnessing just over **1/5th** of this country’s history.

Last night, I got to enjoy one of my favorite holidays from home... and I'm even catching a few more fireworks this morning! 🎆

What an amazingly beautiful country we live in. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours. Rather than focusing on what’s wrong, I’m going to keep trying to make my little corner of it a little better.

This morning started with one of my favorite traditions: putting a **13-pound brisket from K4 Gourmet Beef** in the oven—my daughter seasoned and prepped it last night, and we'll finish it off in the smoker later today. Looking forward to sharing a great meal with family.
