When I was a kid growing up, we would visit my memere (grandmother) in Canada. She always had this incredible garden! I always envisioned having my own garden and hoped I inherited her green thumb. This morning, I compiled a list of things I'd love to grow in my future garden and asked ChatGPT how big a garden I would need. Within minutes I not only had the dimensions, but a layout with spacing! Quick text to Bill and he set out this afternoon to making it happen. Garlic bulbs arrive in a couple weeks and I'll be ready to get them in the ground for fall planting (harvest next summer).

No short cuts in my Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño boule (loaf) 🤩 Freshly diced Jalapeño peppers, hand cubed sharp cheddar cheese, and bacon, cut up and pan-fried because... you know... bacon 🥓 fixes everything! Too bad Facebook doesn't have a feature that allows you to smell how delicious this loaf is!

Good morning and Happy Sunday!

The weather this morning isn't conducive to outdoor recreation (unless of course you like outdoor rainy activities!). This morning's test kitchen experience was English muffins made with sourdough. Early feedback is that they look real nice, taste great, but diameter-wise could be a little larger. These are 3-inch diameter.

What do you think? Try 4 inch diameter next time?

Tomorrow is forecasted to be on the wet side, so that's a perfect day for testing out new things. What should I try next? I've had a couple requests for English muffins. Any other suggestions?
