🍂 **WELL, MOTHER NATURE HAS OTHER PLANS!** 👀

I was hoping this weekend would be my LAST open farmstand weekend before switching to a **PRE-ORDER-ONLY** setup until Spring 2027… but these temperatures aren't looking too promising! 🥶

Unless Mother Nature surprises us with a little *Indian Summer* ☀️, I'll be moving to pre-orders for the season!

But don't worry…
Rees’ Ridge Farm isn't going into hibernation just yet! 😉🥖

🚨 FARMSTAND UPDATE! 🚨

First, the bad news… 😢
The Rees’ Ridge Farmstand will NOT be open this Saturday. I’m an Operating Room RN and I’m on-call all weekend, so unfortunately the OR gets me this weekend! 🏥👩‍⚕️

BUT… 👀🍪

The good news is… COOKIE PREORDERS ARE OPEN! 🙌

THIS is how you do breakfast at Rees’ Ridge Farm! 😍🥯🥓

Fresh-made bacon cheddar sourdough bagel + tender steak + fluffy egg + melty cheese = one seriously loaded breakfast sandwich. 🤤

Crispy bacon. Cheddar baked right into the bagel. Savory steak. Egg. More cheese. 😋

Basically, breakfast decided to show off. 😂

It's that time of year - chicken coop clean out. Pine shavings shoveled out, horse stall mat pulled out and power washed, nesting boxes washed, p**p build-up chiseled out, cobwebs in the coop and run vacuumed, run shoveled out. Once that was all done, everything was sprayed down with solution to treat against possible mites, then a fine layer of diatomaceous earth was sprinkled before putting fresh pine shavings down. I also took this time to look for any weak spots that potential predators might get in. Glad to have this chore done!

We've lived along the Aroostook River for just over five years. This year, the Canada geese have used the River in large numbers. They are one of my favorite birds, so this year has been especially exciting! Safe travels south!!! See you in the spring!

The farmstand is open! Can you believe it's October already?

Played around with cookie recipes and created a *COOKIE SPECIAL* for today!
