If left in the ground here in zone 6b, dahlia tubers would freeze and rot. Every fall they must be dug up.

I was contacted this week by a FB follower who wanted a bouquet for a friend of hers who was going through a very difficult time. Her story hit close to home. This is why I started FFF. Was able to get one more bouquet out of the growing field for the season. It’s a bittersweet end to a year full of blooms, lots of lessons, and a whole lot of new friends. I am grateful to each of you for being part of my journey. Thank you. ❤️

Zinnia plants are so tired but still putting out. Didn't have it in me to yank the plants out quite yet. ⏳
