Ended opening day with a quality 6 point buck in full velvet coming out just before last light at about 25 yards. almost Drew back on the deer before taking another examination and realize he just wasn't the size I'm looking for. He would be a heck of a deer for someone's first buck. Great start to the season folks. Be safe out there🤙🇺🇸🏹🦌

Here is my opening day setup on the left up close. And on the right is from where my target zone is. Can you see it?🏹 I'll have the wind coming from over my left shoulder and I'm sitting downwind of where the bucks have been bedded down before they make their way to my mineral blocks.
The perfect wind and the perfect set up. Let's see if we can capitalize🦌
