Last day of my flower stand! Beautiful day to do outside work and clean up the land for next year. It is amazing to me that we’ve had multiple 20° nights, even getting down to the low 20s, and there are still so many bits of beautiful color one can scavenge up into a cute little bouquet. God‘s creation is full of so many treasures if we take the time to look for them. 🧡🍂🍁

As this flower season fades away, we are down to only $5 cups of blooms on the stand. I am scavenging for the last bits ...

As this flower season fades away, we are down to only $5 cups of blooms on the stand. I am scavenging for the last bits and pieces of color and beauty to share with you. Saturday will be the last day I have flowers for sale! 😭

Well,  as they say, all good things must come to an end. And while that isn’t true for everything, it IS true for flower gardening each season. 😭 We have hit mid 20s the past two nights and even my efforts at saving some zinnias and dahlias have not been successful with those temperatures and the supplies I had on hand. So, I have just a few remaining market bouquets left in the (broken) Flower Fridge and I will keep cups of blooms on the stand this week with the frost-hardy blooms that are left. I anticipate Saturday being the last day of having flowers available and then the fridge will be put away and repaired for next spring!  Thank you all for your patronage and support this incredible summer season. I have completely enjoyed growing flowers and sharing them with you all. I am already at work on plans for next year‘s garden and I’m excited about some new flowers to add to the mix. Stay tuned. 😁

Welcome to the Flower (broken) Fridge! We now have an open door policy as the fridge is not cooling properly. 😅 New part arriving tomorrow, which will hopefully fix the problem. In the meantime, our flowers are resting happily in the shade of the fridge and are available for purchase. We’re looking at a potential freeze this weekend and are savoring the last moments of floral beauty as the season comes to a close.

This is probably one of my most favorite bouquets ever, even though it is super tiny and didn’t utilize a lot of flowers! I went to a cowgirl bridal shower over the weekend and brought this along with me. It is fun to collect a little, unique receptacles for mini personalized bouquets!

Temps keep dropping down into the 30s. Every morning that I wake up and still have my flowers feels like a special gift. Who knows how long they will last! Come buy some beautiful blooms while we still have them. 😍
