Happy New Year!
I didn't do much baking for "sale" this last year because life was really busy, and the kids were 98% of that busy. Hopefully, this year, I will find a better balance with things, but time will tell. Still, I want to thank everyone for your continued support.
I'm kicking off the year getting ahead on an order for a baby shower since I'm actually home today and am making myself have a moment now, so I'm not stressed next week!

I hope everyone has the same anxiety i do having their kids bake and decorate for their fair entries that I'm currently having. I will give them credit that they have mostly done it themselves minus me helping Margaret with her cookies, and helping the girls fill their icing bags. I'll hopefully have a clean kitchen soon.
Still waiting on my freezer which got delayed but life is busy so I guess it's okay.

Bad news, good news.....
Bad news: my freezer in the garage that I store desserts like macarons and all of my meat died. I cried. I cussed. I cried and poured an adult beverage.
Good news: I just ordered a new one online. It will of course be a hot minute before it arrives, but it's ordered.
Other good news, I built a cart to act as a little farmers stand that I can put at the bottom of my driveway. I'm still finishing it, debating on leaving it as is or painting, etc, but I'll put extra desserts out there, eggs, veggies, whatever for folks to come and grab.
Hopefully once we get another week or two of school in, I'll schedule some more baking for everyone, but I have accepted that this year is just light in that department.
