I am not selling flowers this year. I am taking a break to spend the summer with family and to just be a gardener. BUT, I do love sharing my garden, so I'll still probably post pictures and thoughts from time to time, like this one:

This is Olivia Rose Austin. I bought her last year as a potted rose from . It is the first rose to bloom in my garden this year and is way ahead of the others. I love the smell. Two bud vases with six stems can be smelled as soon as you walk in my kitchen.

My one complaint is that it's kind of droopy. The roses don't stand upright on the plant. I read this in reviews after buying, but I'm hoping it gets better as the plant matures. This is planted on an Eastern wall, so gets morning sun, afternoon shade and is very happy there.

A couple of people commented on many of my posts last night and tagged followers in spammy comments directing them to some kind of shopping link. All the comments have been removed (I think). I am sorry if you were one tagged in a bogus comment. Hopefully it is taken care of now. Please never click on any link you're tagged in if you don't know the person who's tagged you.

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and is a enjoying a little down time this winter. Here is a winter Bloom I had open up inside this past week.

Holiday Amaryllis have finally arrived (over a month after my originally confirmed ship date 😡).

I will be posting pictures and prices soon. Please keep an eye out.

This will probably be the last year I order Amaryllis, so if you've wanted one in the past, now is the time to act.

This is liatris. It was a new one for me this year. I tried growing it two years ago, and my supplier canceled my bulb order. I was finally able to get some this year. It opens from the top down and is long lasting in a vase.

I always get so excited to see a bucket of lisianthus. These plugs were planted in February and harvested in July. They take time and patience, but tje payoff is worth it.
