It’s time to say farewell… For now, to Cara Cara orange scones. Eating seasonally means enjoying fruits and produce harvested at their natural peak. Truth be told I’ve been hoarding the Cara Cara oranges to make these scones. Until we meet again, the last batch is headed to The Apothic Company this morning.

Today’s the day! Father’s Day Farm Market. Come on out and spend some time on farm with Dad and support our local vendors! 10-2PM. We have a limited amount of pimento cheese available and wood-fired pizza starting at 11. Lingerfelt Farms will be cooking up some of their delicious hot dogs. And lots of local vendors including alter ice cream and Pops Kettle Treats.

Flowers available at PG Farmers Market at Clucks & Ducks Homestead stand 9-1PM and Sunday here at the SOF Farm Market 10-2PM. Our very own Jennie Lockett is taking a well-deserved vacation. We’ll have a guest bouquet maker, Leila from Petersburg Blooms Come and meet Leila and pick up a bouquet (or 2 😃). Celebrate Dad and support our local vendors. Can’t wait to see you!
