Is this Organic? It’s a question that all farmers/gardners hear especially at markets. We answer the question but we really want to flip the question and ask you what do you mean “Organic”? We can have a long conversation on this topic but we’re not. This post is about the Fish Hydrolysate aka Fish Fertilizer. Ingredients are fish (Mackerel & Porgies Caught by Jay the owner) unsulfured molasses and water. This mixture goes through a fermentation process that later once strained is a magnificent fertilizer for vegetables and flowers. Farming and Growing the Roper’s Way 😉

The Fall 2025 Princeton University Farmers Market has officially wrapped up! It’s a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye to some of the incredible young men and women we’ve had the pleasure of seeing over the past few years.

To those graduating — blessings on your next chapter and all the adventures ahead.
To everyone returning — we can’t wait to see your bright faces again in Spring 2026!
