Things have slowed a bit on the farm since we finished getting all the crops in before Thanksgiving and we are enjoying every minute of a relaxed pace even though there are still lots of activities going on to prepare for next season! Today is Christmas Eve and we are humbled, blessed and thankful. That may sound cliche, but the truth is always in season and we think if we were all more grateful for what we have and spent more time celebrating the joys in our lives, we would all be better off!

We are sharing scenes from the farm that showcase the fun and delight of Christmas and most importantly, the true meaning of this wonderful holiday! Big thanks to Tina K and her elves for making Kornegayville so festive and bright! Merry Christmas to you and yours from all of us and Kornegay Family Farms and Produce!!

28 years ago on this campus, Danny and Susie watched Dan graduate from . Today, we watched Daniel receive his degree in Field Crops Technology just like his dad!
We are so proud of and glad to have him back on the farm full time now! Congratulations, D-man!

A few scenes from our appreciation meal for our H2A guestworkers a week ago. We finished sweetpotato harvest yesterday and most of them will start the trip back home this weekend while some will stick around a little longer to help with cotton, soybeans and a few odds and ends. 💪

What these men do for our farm is an understatement. In our last meeting yesterday, I told them that everything we do is hard work, but I realize the sweetpotato harvest is the hardest and how much my family and I appreciate their commitment to finish the job even when it lingers into November. 🗓️

This has been our tenth year in the H2A program and while it has its challenges, it has provided us with a reliable, consistent labor force who want to work and rise to the challenge along with the sun every day! ☀️

These are more than employees...these men are our extended family and one of the simple pleasures Facebook provides me is seeing posts of them reuniting with their families. ❤️

Muchas gracias, hombres! Vaya con Dios! Muchas bendiciones para ti! 🙏🏻
