A Puzzle for the Boys...Sometimes we get inquiries on the spelling of our CIDAR. The "AR" instead of "ER" nomenclature is purposely used instead of the conventional spelling for multiple reasons.

It is an OLD School spelling used at a time when chemicals were not. Fruit was grown naturally, aided by cow manure, seaweed, and less human intervention. We feel The CIDAR spelling represents the difference between our Naturally grown Apples that we use in the Smith & Meyer Heritage CidAr, opposed to c***r, where extra chemicals and questionable processing are more often used.

Sometimes things are not what they appear. The Next time you buy an "apple drink"...look at the label. See where its from, what additives are in it, check color. If its being trucked from out of state, how does it stay "fresh". If consumers actually realized what was IN those other c***rs, they likely would question consumption.

So our spelling is just "A" way to know the difference between Our Heritage Cidar and the other commercially offered c***rs sold "E"verywhere.

Sometimes you have to look back, or in the mirror to find the answers.
