Good morning and happy Saturday!

We have not gone anywhere, it has just been an extremely busy schedule. It's Fair week, and its been crazy.

We are set up in the infield for the Derby. We do apologize to those that are unlikely to come into the infield. But there is Rossy's BBQ in the Kramer Building.

Next up, the fun and amazing looking shirts are here! Thank you to Mullet Bros and Kody Mongan for the amazing work, you nailed our idea!

Shirt colors- Red, Tennessee Orange, Teal, or Grey. Small-xl $25 XXL and up $27. We will have them in the food truck. If you want one and have not ordered one yet. Do not wait, these won't last long!

We have been a little slow on social media, but very busy Catering.

This weekend we are going to be rolling in to Atkinson on Saturday 11-5 for Heritage Days.

Atkinson Heritage Days 2026 takes place on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Atkinson.

Celebrating Atkinson's 170th birthday and America's 250th anniversary, the festival features food trucks, a science foam party, fireworks, a parade, a craft vendor fair, a BBQ rib cook-off, and a street dance.

Friday, August 21 Schedule 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm:
Paint The Park at Veterans' Park4:00 pm – 8:00 pm:
Community Gathering & Food Trucks at Veterans' Park6:00 pm – 8:00 pm:
Science Foam Party at Veterans' Park8:00 pm –
Dusk: Fireworks Show and Paratroopers behind the Atkinson School Commons ball diamonds.

Saturday, August 22 Schedule
8:00 am: BBQ Rib Cook-Off meat inspection (turn-in at 2:30 pm)
11:00 am: Pie Baking Contest entries due at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall
1:00 pm: Heritage Days Parade, followed by the Pie Auction at Veterans' Park Pavilion.
All Day: Craft & Market Vendors at Veterans' Park, live music, Rolle Bolle, and kids' games, ending with the annual Street Dance.

We want to send a thank you to everyone who makes the Mendota Sweetcorn Festival a go. We appreciate you having us, and can't wait to come back next year!

Thank you to all that came and supported us and all the other vendors. We could not have asked for the weather to be too much better, the crowds were amazing.

To our team that always steps up when needed. We have a member down right now(we are wishing them a speedy bounce back). We can not thank enough Travis and Katrina for stepping up and killing it this weekend. Thank you!

Now time to start working on getting ready for the next event.
