Yesterday my daughter turned ONE! It’s been a crazy, busy year and I just to thank all of you for being so understanding as I took a huge step back to focus on my family! I have enjoyed the extra time with them, but I miss all of you as well! 🤍

I’ve been a little MIA lately, but we just got back from our trip to Disney and wanted to share some of the delicious snacks and desserts we ate: Mickey Brownie, Snickers rice cake pop, vanilla cheesecake (at Cinderella’s Royal Table), Sully Slush, Cookies n cream cupcake, and the blue planet chocolate cheesecake (at Space 220)! 🤤

My daughter’s kindergarten graduation was this past weekend and she was so excited to have a Taylor Swift graduation party! She knew exactly what she wanted, from decorations to food and and dessert!

What none of us expected was our house getting struck by lightning last Wednesday, which also happened to be my birthday 🙃

We were very fortunate there was no fire, but we had no A/C, no hot water, our TV was fried, garage door won’t open/close properly, our Ring doorbell camera doesn’t work, phone charger bricks don’t work, our power reclining couch doesn’t work, half our light fixtures downstairs need to be replaced, and our oven doesn’t work anymore. We are praying that is the extent of the damage and we don’t come across anything else that needs to be fixed or replaced.

My daughter had her heart set on a heart shaped cake, but without a working oven I couldn’t make that happen. Since it was so last minute, I got a cake at Market Street. They had an all white iced cake on display so I got that cake and airbrushed colors onto it and added butterflies! She was happy and loved the cake 🙌

It has been a hectic week and we’re hoping insurance will move quickly so we can get a new oven! If you have orders coming up, don’t worry! I do have a back up plan to make sure they are still completed! 🫶

We are devastated and heartbroken to share the passing of Officer Nancy Dominguez, a dedicated public servant and cherished member of the Princeton community.

On Saturday, April 20, 2024 at approximately 5:20pm, Officer Dominguez was involved in an off-duty motor vehicle accident at E. Lucas Road and Lakeview Drive. Officer Dominguez was transported to Medical City McKinney and tragically succumbed to injuries she sustained in the accident.

Officer Dominguez began her career with the Princeton Police Department on July 25, 2022, where she received numerous accolades including 2022 Rookie of the Year, 2023 Rookie of the Year, 2023 Citizen Commendation Award, multiple Letters of Commendations from the Department, 2023 Life Saving Award, and multiple RISE Awards.

As we mourn the loss of Officer Dominguez, please keep her family, fellow officers and coworkers, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace, Officer Dominguez.
