One of the benefits of running a page is being able to have the public help you occasionally… and it looks like we get to have some secret fun.
I have been craving Albondigas soup which is a traditional Mexican meatball soup made with tender beef or pork meatballs, rice, and fresh vegetables simmered in a light tomato and herb broth.
If you haven’t had it before, my soul hurts for you. But hopefully you can help me heal it.
You see the other day Sara, the head Baker mentioned that wonderful dish in passing and my fat little face lit up like I just got a letter from the IRS saying that they made a mistake. (also another dream ). But that was just a fluttering moment nay, a stifled dream. But I’m hoping that dream was not dashed forever and here’s where you can help.
I need our fans, our followers and any other wonderful customers of Sweet Tooth Bakery to stop in and ask Sara if she can make Albondigas soup (pronounced all-bone-dee-gus). But you can’t do it and tell her somebody told you or much like the strong determined, determined is a good word, woman that she is, I will never ever see my dream come true. Sure, I could make it myself. But nobody makes it like Sara does.
The better part about it is she will go bat s**t crazy trying to figure out how a local community all of a sudden came out, asking for her most prized and coveted dish. Try not to laugh when you ask her but know that there will be a ton of people asking her as well to join in the good fight.
So help a guy out and consider your Christmas present to me. In reality, it’ll be a Christmas present for both of us.
