Please hop on board farmers and ranchers in supporting this cause. It's in opposition to proposed legislation that will take away a farmers ability to earn additional income from their farm. Take a read, sign the letter that will be delivered to the governor. Thank you.

7450 down, 2200 to go! Trimming back the lavender for the new season. All things said, they really did well this winter. Bought 3 new trimmers is all. :) Next is cleaning up all the cuttings!

As a local farm and ranch, we'd love to have all of our followers attend this event on Friday morning at the local Prineville Chamber High Desert Food & Farm Alliance will be there to talk about their organization and all the incredible programs they play a part in our community and most importantly, the support they provide to us local agricultural operations. Oh what a summer! We are not having Lavenday on Aug. 5. Instead, we're having a 10-day Mother Load! You pick out the mother lavender plant in our field, we'll cut it clean for you. We guarantee you get at least 8 bouquet bundles all for $15. (That's less than $2 per bouquet!) Add a culinary english lavender plant for an extra $5 and we'll cut it clean for you too!

GREAT opportunity for horse person. A schedule conflict has us wanting to gift to the right person, a one week Wild Foal Gentling workshop with Anna Twinney. July 29-Aug 5 and you must attend the full workshop. This is a $1,500 clinic, so we'd like only someone who is dedicated to the full week to receive. Great opportunity for a 4H, FFA student or other horse loving person. Please IM us and we can discuss. Workshop is in Redmond.

Farm friend Steve Peeler stopped by this weekend and snapped some of our early blooms in the lavender field. Caught the beautiful nature that we see daily. LOVE nature!
