Sneak Peak! Twin Oaks Middle School and Five Hawks Elementary School students participated in a taste test of local foods from Waxwing Farm,Thompsons' Hillcrest Orchard, and Spring Lake Farm in celebration of National Farm to School Month. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture brought a camera crew out to talk to students about what they tasted, local foods, where their food comes from. We will link the final cut when it's complete! This week, we're celebrating our PLSAS Child Nutrition Services Team for their exceptional dedication in nourishing our PLSAS students with wholesome meals and fostering positive connections and assistance throughout each school day. Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools has 24 full-time, 65 part-time and 16 substitute child nutrition employees, as well as a Director of Child Nutrition Director, an Assistant Director of Child Nutrition, a Child Nutrition Support Specialist and a Child Nutrition Coordinator. We deeply appreciate their invaluable role in ensuring our students receive essential nutrition.

This Friday, May 3, is also School Lunch Hero Day. Thank you to all of our PLSAS Child Nutrition Services Team heroes!
