More mystery meat may be headed to America.
China recently rejected 22 metric tons of beef from Argentina after testing reportedly detected a banned antibiotic.
Meanwhile, the United States is preparing to import up to 300,000 metric tons of foreign beef trimmings—and we still don’t know exactly where all of this new beef will come from.
Is it the same meat? There’s no evidence of that. But it certainly raises questions.
