Thanks to our customers for a successful year. We would have loved for it to last a little longer but so thankful for God's bounty! Each year presents new situations and this year proved that. The second crop didn't produce as well as years past. The weather confused the berries 🍓🍓and us. We have closed the patch for the season, but already making plans for next year! Thanks again for your patience, understanding and support! And above all, we are so thankful for the rain! We have tomatoes planted so just watch Facebook and we'll update when those are ready. It's going to be a little while!!

Here’s to hoping these 3 will carry on the Lunsford Farms strawberry tradition someday. Their mothers (aka the daughters of Ronnie and Helen - one of whom is typing this post) don’t know a whole lot about the operation. 😂 It’s up to Kendall, Luke, and Brooks! ❤️

Fun fact FRIDAY!

Did you know?

Those little “seeds” on the outside of a strawberry aren’t actually seeds…

They’re called achenes and each one is its own tiny fruit 🤯

So technically, you’re eating hundreds of fruits in one bite 🍓

Talk about a “bang for your buck!” 💵😆

As I drove past my mama and daddy’s last night and saw the strawberries all covered up AGAIN, it reminded me of this time about 4 years ago. Daddy decided to hang out in the hospital for a few days and it was up to us to uncover them. As you can see here, I almost ended up in a room beside him. I say this to say, I am SO THANKFUL for my parent’s good health and their hard work ethic! I could never give them the credit they are due, but without them, yall wouldn’t be able to enjoy those delicious strawberries each year! Praying for warmer weather and sunny days so we can get these berries to you! I say we, but let’s be real…I surely wouldn’t make it as a farmer. I will always proudly carry the name, but that hard work…meh 😬🤣🍓
