THE DIGSITE AT SCUFFLIN’ ACRES IS STILL PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
It doesn’t matter who you know or whose name you throw around, the site is still CLOSED!
NO TRESSPASSING IS ALLOWED. PERIOD.

Trust us, we miss it and everyone as much as the next person, but regardless the digsite is still permanently closed.

To all Scufflin’ Friends,

Due to many unforeseen circumstances, we will be closing, permanently.
We were really hoping to be able to open back up this Spring and seeing everyone and enjoying your company as you came to find some amethyst nuggets.
I want everyone to know just how much I appreciate all the encouragement and support, and most of all the friendships. I will forever cherish all the good times we had and memories we made.
Don’t even give up rockhounding and loving all of Mama Natures gifts.

Please, DO NOT just show up and ask to dig. We CAN NOT and WILL NOT allow anyone dig at this time. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please understand we have rules to follow and we will follow them.

Thank you all for the inquiries.
I wish we could say we were ready to go, but we are still not ready to open.
Between new medical issues and coordinating schedules we still have a few “requirements” that have to be completed before we can open.

We want to open as much as you want to be here.

We promise, as soon as we are ready to go we will post here and let everyone know and plan one heck of an opening.

UPDATE:

We will pick up on working for the needed requirements in the next few weeks and get things done so we can reopen as soon as possible.

The family has had an eventful 2021 thanks to covid and recovery was required and slow.

Thank you so much for all the inquiries and we promise, as soon as it’s all done we will make announcement.
