What’s everyone’s plans for the summer? Usually we tend to wing it but I’m trying to be more intentional and make sure it doesn’t just pass by! I reserved a camping spot to take the kids and horses! I’m so excited! Hopefully I’ll plan more but at least I have one scheduled 😆

Just watching my two reunited mustangs from the high rock hma is always so heartwarming. My gelding is such a love 🤍 I think a lot of people can get really disheartened when it comes to gentling/training Mustangs understandably it can be a lot of work. There’s a ton of different ways to go about it. There’s so many people in their opinions and often those that think their way is the only way ;) a girl who picked up her Horses the same day as mine and same location had just haltered one finally after day 68 someone had commented on how she should’ve had them haltered by day 10 and was just very snotty. We’re not all at the same point in our lives or in our training knowledge and we don’t all want to go about things the same way. Not to mention they should be treated and trained as individuals not a one size fits all. (in my opinion) Regardless if you’re out there feeling inadequate or discouraged by others comments, I have seen a couple trainers that I think very highly of and have seen them do great work on many mustangs and they still have people coming on their page thinking they know so much more than them. I think we should all always be willing to learn stay open minded to ask for help when we need it but also know that if you’re out there TRYING you’re already doing so much more than most!
