We lost our precious Heartlander to this brutal heatwave this morning. He was a regal llama, he loved his little lambs, and he protected them well. Big shout out to Dr. Keenan at Fayetteville Animal Hospital for his guidance and reassurance, and to Jake Putman for his quick response in getting our Heartlander properly buried. Things just won’t be the same around here.

What we thought was a routine farm visit turned into this, today. We could not do what we do without the counsel, support, and guidance of our local USDA office, coupled with the best UT Ag Extension agents, the TN Department of Agriculture, the support of the fantastic folks of Giles Co., Tennessee, and most importantly, the grace of God. Thank you Brandon Gandy, Denise Little, Larry Dickey, the entire Giles Co. USDA office staff, and the Board of Directors for recognizing our efforts.
